This creative show written by Patrick Barlow using only 4 actors went over the top. We went with a film nor approach meaning I wasn’t afraid of leaving faces in shadow and using gobo texture. The scenic designer Monika wanted to highlight the theatrical nature of the show using a truss structure over the top of the set, that I was able to glow up using lighting. There was also a space to use footlights for the Mr Memory scenes in the theatre, but also for running effects when the actors were on top of the trunks for the epic train chase.
