I was really excited to design my first show at Meadow Brook Theatre. The scenic designer wanted to create a memory play look with items from Patsy’s past hanging from the rafters. The back wall of the set is made to represent the barn from the Grand Ole Opry with built in light boxes to light up to create visual interest as well as represent the Las Vegas numbers. The windows are representative of Ryman Auditorium and used for the church song section. The Chandeliers are used to represent Carnegie Hall.
